Learning
Advanced Academics® offers an accredited curriculum delivered
over the Internet. Daylight/Twilight High School is taking advantage of this
advanced technology to offer online education to our students. The
advantages of online education include:
- Students who need remedial help.
- Students with personal obligations or scheduling constraints.
- Students with college preparatory goals that require accelerated classes
the school is unable to provide.
Advanced Academics® is the first complete
solution available — one that includes the curriculum, the delivery vehicle,
assessment, reporting, and the teachers. The extensive and robust testing
within each course ensures achievement of state standards.
The NEW Daylight/Twilight

As the State unveiled its plans for New School Construction, Trenton’s
Daylight/Twilight High School was on the list of 6 Demonstration Projects
announced.
The proposed $17 million community school project, tailored to adult students,
will be located at East Hanover and Montgomery Streets. The new school will
create a true “Neighborhood of Learning” and will be the central redevelopment
project of an urban campus that links the Public Library, Mercer County
Community College and the YMCA. All the functions of the current
Daylight/Twilight operation will move into the new building. Community Based
Design features of the plan include School-to Career activities; wrap around
community access to the campus from 7 AM until 8 PM; and the opportunity for
immersion of high school students into college level courses. Participating in
the announcement at Mercer County Community College – Kerney Campus, were
Education Commissioner Librera, Labor Commissioner Kroll, Assemblyman Reed
Gusciora, members of the Trenton High Marching Band, the New Jersey Schools
Construction Corporation (SCC), Daylight Principal, Bill Tracy and student,
Nakia Bethea. The project is currently in its final design stages.
