RE:  Morning Arrival and Entrance Points

Due to security concerns with regard to the control of access points to the building, the following plan will go into effect Monday, September 26.  This plan is designed to maintain a secure environment for all students and staff.  It also eliminates multiple entrance points where students are being left unsupervised.  Your assistance in maintaining the safety of our students and staff building by following the revised plan is appreciated. 

1.        All students must enter the building through Door 8.  This door is located on the parking lot towards the center of the building and will be supervised starting at 8:15.  This door is the required entrance point for all students.

2.       All walkers are expected to arrive to the building no earlier than 8:15 and no later than 8:35 to ensure the child has enough time to eat breakfast.  Tardiness for walkers and parent drop offs is not acceptable.  Start the day off on the right foot by arriving on time.

3.       All bus students will enter through door 8 and will have access to breakfast regardless of their arrival time.

4.       All other entrances will be closed and locked for the duration of the school day.  If you notice a door that is open please contact the main office or a security guard.

5.       All parents dropping students off in the parking lot must take extra care when unloading their child.  Please be careful when pulling out of the parking lot to avoid any accidents or unsafe conditions.  Cars are forbidden from parking in the loading dock area or from leaving their car unattended in the parking lot.

6.       Parents who drive and wish to walk their child in to the cafeteria should park on the street and walk their child into the building through Door 8.
