Posting Grades

A.  Windows Log-in:
  1. Log onto school computer as usual
  2. Open up Internet Explorer
  3. On the Links Toolbar, click the SASI Web Access button. If you cannot see it, click the small double arrows on the right to show more links. You can also type in this web address: http://www.trenton.k12.nj.us
  4. Wait for the program to load
  5. Click Yes or OK to any messages that pop-up
  6. At Windows Server 2003 screen, enter your User Name and Network (computer & email) Password
  7. Change "Log on to " to Gregory with drop down arrow (instead of APPLICATION this computer

B.  CLASSxp Log-in:

  1. Click the CLASSxp icon (not SASI icon)
  2. Log into CLASSxp screen with your User Name and Password (first initial, last name)

C.  Entering Your Grades:

  1. A Screen will appear with your classes. Double click to select a class.
  2. Go to the Performance menu and select Class Grades, then Grades
  3. See list of classes again. Double click (in blue area) to select one
  4. Enter alphabetic grades and comments by making selections from the drop-down menu
  5. Save and Close
  6. In the Class Information Box on the right, use the drop down arrow in the Select Class section (or just click in the section) to choose your next class (if you can not see the Class Information box at all. click Class from the menu bar, then Class Info)

Saving to a Disk

1.  Make sure disk is in disk drive.
2.  Open up your document that you want to save to the disk.
3.  In window that opens up, look at the top of that window where it reads, "Save in" and make sure that 31/2 Floppy (A) appears, not "My Documents".  You do this by clicking on the triangle that points down at the end of that window.  Click on 31/2 Floppy (A).
4.  At the bottom of that same window, you you will see another box that reads, "File Name".  Give your document a name that  represents what what your document is, then click "Save".
5.  To make sure you have saved to a disk, do the following:
            a.  Close your document out and get back to the desktop.
            b.  Click "My Computer" and then click "31/2 Floppy".
            c.  You should see your document in that folder.  Double click on the icon to open your document.
 

Correcting Sound for Music

1.  Click on Start, Go up to Programs, and scroll to Windows Media Player, click.
2.  Go to Tools, scroll down to Options, click.
3.  Click on the CD Audio tab.
4.  Uncheck Digital playback under Playback Settings.
5.  Click Apply at the bottom, OK and close out.
6.  You should now have music that doesn't sound like Alvin & the Chipmunks.

 The Print Window

When your print window comes up, you have several options.
     1.  You can leave everything as is and click ok.  This will allow you to print only one copy, unless you change the
           number of copies.
                                                                                                   
  or

      2.  When you need specific pages printed, look down the left side of the window for "Page range".  Click in the
            circle next to pages, then click in the window next to that and put in the page number range you want (e.g. 2-2,
            48-57, 5-10, etc.).  Click ok, only the page range that you specified will print, rather than pages that are not
            applicable.
