Monument Reading Challenge!
Monument students and staff participated in a 3 month long reading challenge to drop everything and read for 10 minutes per day. The students who read the perfect number of minutes, 520, were invited to attend an ice cream party AND to decorate their Principal, Bernadette Trapp, as a human ice cream sundae. She was a great incentive to all and an even better sport, suffering through freezing temperatures and sticky conditions! Way to go Monument! Read for life!
