After learning about life cycles in science class, Miss Papero’s second graders at Washington School witnessed the 21 day incubation of chicken eggs. 

Thanks to Karen Harris, the classroom was supplied with an incubator, fertilized eggs and everything else necessary to hatch the chicks.   The students have completed numerous cross-curricular activities.  As you can see from the photos, it has been a wonderful learning experience!
