Read Across The Rug!

Mrs. Washington's fourth grade class celebrated Dr.Seuss's Birthday with the little Who(s) in Mrs. Chant's Pre-K class. 

They all started off on the " Big Rug" with the reading of "Horton Hears a Who".  Then the fourth graders took their small pre-k groups from rug to rug .  They helped the little ones make Horton head-bands, played Dr. Seuss board games, print their Dr. Seuss certificates, and listened to Dr. Seuss tapes. The event was a great sharing/ learning and fun time for both the Pre-Ks and the fourth graders!!
