The opportunity for the students to lunch with Arun Gandhi originated when their teacher, Jaime Maniatis, won the luncheon with Arun Gandhi, during a recent rally attempting to break the Guinness World Book of Records to create the largest human piece symbol ever.

The students had the honor of Arun Gandhi's signature upon their poster designs, and photos together with him, to help them remember this special experience and Gandhi's message to "Be the change" they wish to see in the world.
