Saturday Academy

The Saturday Academy met each Saturday for seven weeks.  The goal was to give students an opportunity to improve reading, math, and writing skills in preparation of the New Jersey Assessment Tests to be taken during the month of March.  Thirty-five students participated in the Saturday Academy.

Students concentrated on poetry, picture prompts, open-ended questioning, and with math the concentration was on addition, subtraction and geometry.
