Candied Pecans

3 cups pecan halves

 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1/2 cup granulated sugar

Directions:

   LINE A LARGE BAKING SHEET WITH FOIL.

BUTTER THE FOIL.

IN A SAUCEPAN, COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT PECANS.

   COOK UNTIL MIXTURE TURNS RICH BROWN.

 STIR IN PECANS AND POUR ONTO THE BUTTERED BAKING SHEET.

LET COOL.

BREAK INTO PIECES.
