GARLICKY MASHED POTATOES

2-1/2 POUNDS WHITE POTATOES

1/2 CUP WARM MILK

SALT AND PEPPER, TO TASTE

1/2 STICK BUTTER

3-4 GARLIC CLOVES

2-3 GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED

DIRECTIONS:

               IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN, COVER POTATOES WITH WATER AND ADD THE GARLIC CLOVES.

COOK POTATOES UNTIL TENDER.

DRAIN.

PLACE HOT POTATOES IN LARGE BOWL.

ADD BUTTER AND MASH.

POUR A LITTLE MILK AND CONTINUE TO MASH.

ADD MINCED GARLIC.

STIR AND MASH ADDING MILK IF NEEDED.

SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER.
