Green Muffalettas

½ (16-oz.) jar Italian olive salad,

drained and chopped

¼ c. pitted black olives, chopped

1 large celery stick, chopped

3 tbsp. Tabasco® Green Pepper Sauce, divided

2 tbsp. olive oil

1 (8 inch) round loaf crusty French or sourdough bread

¼ lb. each thinly sliced salami, ham and provolone cheese

Directions:

Combine olive salad, black olives, celery and 2 tablespoons Tabasco® Green Pepper Sauce in a bowl.

Mix well.

Combine remaining 1 tablespoon Tabasco® Green Pepper Sauce and olive oil in a small bowl.

Cut bread in half to form 2 rounds and remove some of the soft inside from each half so that the sandwich won’t be too thick.

Brush inside of each half with olive oil mixture.

Spread olive salad mixture over bottom half of bread.

Top with salami, ham and cheese.

Replace top half of bread and cut sandwich in quarters.

Yield: 4 sandwiches
