3 EGGS

1/2 C. SUGAR

1/4 TSP. SALT

1 C. DARK CORN SYRUP

1 TSP. VANILLA

1-1/2 C. PECANS

1 PIE SHELL, UNBAKED

WHIPPED CREAM, IF DESIRED

DIRECTIONS:

PREHEAT OVEN TO 450º.

BEAT EGGS IN LARGE BOWL.

ADD SUGAR, SALT, CORN SYRUP,

AND VANILLA.

STIR WELL.

POUR PECANS INTO PIE SHELL.

POUR EGG MIXTURE OVER PECANS.

BAKE IN OVEN 10 MINUTES.

REDUCE HEAT TO 350º.

BAKE FOR 35 MINUTES LONGER.

REMOVE FROM OVEN.

ADD WHIPPED CREAM IF DESIRED.

MAY BE EATEN WARM OR COLD.
