SHAY'S ROASTED ASPARAGUS

2 LBS. ASPARAGUS

1 TBSP. OLIVE OIL or more 

1/2 TSP. BLACK PEPPER

1/4 TSP. SALT

3 CLOVES GARLIC, MINCED

3 OZ. ASIAGO CHEESE (if desired)

DIRECTIONS:

REMOVE WOODY STEMS

IN BAKING PAN, GENTLY TOSS ASPARAGUS WITH OIL, SALT, AND PEPPER.

SPREAD EVENLY IN BAKING PAN.

BAKE AT 400° FOR 15-20 MINUTES.

GRATE CHEESE.

SPRINKLE CHEESE OVER ASPARAGUS.

RETURN TO OVEN JUST UNTIL CHEESE MELTS.
