SEAFOOD TOAST

1 CAN CREAM OF CREAM OF CELERY SOUP

           12 OUNCES FLAKED CRABMEAT OR MINCED SHRIMP

4 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED CELERY

4 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED ONION

1 CLOVE MINCED GARLIC

1/2 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE

SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

1 LOAF LONG CRUSTY BREAD

1/2 CUP SHREDDED CHEESE, ANY FLAVOR

DIRECTIONS:

PREHEAT BROILER.

                        COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT BREAD AND CHEESE.

                  SLICE BREAD AND ARRANGE ON BAKING SHEETS.   

TOAST BOTH SIDES.

SPREAD SEAFOOD MIXTURE ON EACH SLICE.

SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE.

                  BROIL UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWN. (WATCH CAREFULLY!)
