2-1/4 C. FLOUR (NOT SELF-RISING)
1/4 TSP. SALT
3/4 C. CHOPPED NUTS
DIRECTIONS:
HEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.
MIX THOROUGHLY BUTTER AND SUGAR.
ADD VANILLA.
WORK IN FLOUR, SALT AND NUTS UNTIL DOUGH HOLDS TOGETHER.
SHAPE DOUGH INTO I-INCH BALLS.
PLACE ON UNGREASED BAKING SHEET.
BAKE 10-12 MINUTES OR UNTIL SET BUT NOT BROWN.
WHILE WARM, ROLL IN CONFECTIONERS SUGAR.
COOL.
ROLL AGAIN IN SUGAR.
YIELD: ABOUT 4 DOZ. COOKIES
