1 CUP CORNMEAL

2 CUPS BOILING WATER

1 CUP MILK

1 TEASPOON SALT

3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER

2-4 EGGS WELL BEATEN

2 TABLESPOONS FAT (BACON GREASE)

DIRECTIONS:

 

POUR BOILING WATER OVER CORNMEAL.

ADD MILK, SALT, AND EGGS.

BEAT WELL.

ADD FAT AND BAKING POWDER.

POUR INTO OILED BAKING DISH.

BAKE AT 350º ABOUT 40 MINUTES.

SERVE FROM BAKING DISH WITH A SPOON

SERVE WITH BUTTER OR CRISP BACON.
