1 LB. IRISH BACON

1 LB. BANGERS ( IRISH SAUSAGE)

SALT AND PEPPER (TO TASTE)

PEELED POTATOES, SLICED THINLY

OIL

WATER OR CHICKEN BROTH

THYME

1 ONION, DICED

BAY LEAF ( DON’T FORGET TO REMOVE)

 

DIRECTIONS:

(READ CAREFULLY BEFORE LAYERING)

HEAT OIL IN SKILLET.

BROWN SAUSAGE.

SAUTÉ BACON.

MIX POTATOES WITH SEASONINGS.

LAYER A OILED CASSEROLE DISH WITH SOME OF THE POTATOES.

LAYER SAUSAGE AND BACON ON TOP.

NEATLY ARRANGE REMAINING POTATOES ON TOP.

POUR WATER/BROTH OVER ALL.

BAKE IN 400 DEGREE OVEN TILL LIGHTLY BROWNED.

REDUCE HEAT TO 350 DEGREES.

BAKE 30 MINUTES.

PRESS DOWN POTATOES EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE.

AFTER FINISHED, BRUSH WITH MELTED BUTTER.
