Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am so excited to be joining Mott Elementary School once again. As the Principal, I would like to take this opportunity to reintroduce myself. I began my employment with the Trenton Board of Education in September 2001 as a Supervisor for the Special Education Department. One year later, I became the Principal of Mott School for six wonderful years. For the last three years, I served as the Assistant Superintendent for Area B School, Principal of Trenton Central High School Main Campus and PJ Hill Elementary School.

It is our mission to establish high standards for students to become critical thinkers, effective communicators, global citizens, and active participants in the learning process. Mott Elementary offers a variety of extra-curricular programs, as well as social activities to develop a well rounded student. We need your cooperation, support and involvement! Take the time to talk with your son/daughter about their school experiences. Your interest and concern in their school progress will motivate them to do their best. Maintain contact with your child's teachers, and with me. Join the PTO and become an active member. Ask questions and communicate concerns so that we can build a partnership which will ensure student success.

As we prepare to embark on this new year, we will continue to support our students to become lifelong learners, to conduct themselves as responsible citizens, to communicate effectively, and use critical thinking skills while displaying their worth and good nature.
