1. Look at a picture and create a class web.
2. Transform web into a story.
3. Revise story.
4. Publish story.

Materials/Resources:

Students will:

• fill out a K-W-L Chart
• use research tools-internet and Encarta
• write story using Star-W laptops.

 Assessment:

• Published story
• Ongoing teacher observation of students using  technology to build and write story.

Student's work will be displayed on website upon completion.
