Mayor Eric E. Jackson today appointed Addie Daniels-Lane, who's been an educator for 37 years, to the Trenton School Board. Ms. Daniels-Lane is also a proud graduate of Trenton Central High School.
“Ms. Daniels-Lane has vast, firsthand knowledge of Trenton Public Schools and its amazing students," said Mayor Jackson. "She has served in various roles for many years, seeing to the critical needs of our children in the district, and I am grateful to her for agreeing to serve on the board."
Ms. Daniels-Lane, who's had a long and distinguished career in public education, is retired from the Trenton Board of Education. From 2013 to 2015, she was principal of Trenton High School West, and from 2010 to 2013, she was principal at Grace A. Dunn Middle School, and in that same role at P.J. Hill Elementary School from 2003 to 2010. She has two master's degrees from The College of New Jersey: one in education and the other in counseling and personnel services, including a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Seton Hall University.
