1. Interview a Book Character Select a character from a book you have read. Create a list of 10 questions you would ask that character if you were interviewing him for a news show. Pretend that you are the character and answer the questions as the character would. 2. Create a Scrap Book of the Book While you are reading a book create scrap book pages for each important event in the story. Your scrap book should be at least 4 pages long. Each page should include a picture that goes along with the event and at least one paragraph explaining it. 3. Create a Book Jacket After you have read a book create a book cover or jacket for it. Include the title, author, a picture, a one page summary, and information about the author. 4. Create a Collage After you have read a book create a collage using cut out pictures, drawings, and words that displays the theme of the book. You may have to draw your own images. Then include 3-4 quotes from the book with page numbers on your collage. |
