Projects
Read 5 books and
complete one project for one of the books you read. Select a
project from the list below:
1.
Puppet
- Create a puppet of the main character from a book. Dress the
puppet like the character was dressed in the book.
2.
Ten Facts
-Student
creates a "Ten Facts About [book title]" sheet that lists ten facts
he or she learned from reading the book. The facts, written in
complete sentences, must include details the student didn't know
before reading the book.
3.
Senses Map
- Draw a picture of the main character from the story. Write the
title and author at the top of the paper. Draw a box near the
character; write something the character saw in the box. Draw a line
from the box to the character’s eyes. Do the same for something the
character heard, tasted, smelled, and felt.
4.
Create a Comic Book-
Turn the story you read into a comic book. Draw scenes and add
speech bubbles.
