Trenton Board of Education Statement

This statement responds to misrepresentations being made regarding the Trenton Board of Education’s policies and practices for the upcoming 2017-18 school year. Please note that NJEA representatives and all District association leaders were invited to a confirmed meeting on August 31st to discuss any concerns related to these matters. Except for the Trenton Administrators and Supervisors Association, all other associations declined to attend the meeting.

Young Engineers Day

Rutgers University will host Young Engineers Day on February 21 for children in Kindergarten through Grade 12. This event is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn more about the enjoyable world of Engineering and the Rutgers School of Engineering through hands-on,age-appropriate activities,as well as having the chance to see a new 100,000 square- foot Engineering building under construction. Rutgers faculty,staff,undergraduate students, and graduate students will be on hand to make this a great day for all.Young Engineers Day will take place at the Busch Student Center in Piscataway,near the beautiful Rutgers Golf Course and Rutgers Stadium.To learn more, contact Michael Brown atmikebr@soe.rutgers.edu. Please check the Parent Portal regularly.  No student with failing final grades and excessive absenteeism/lates will be promoted!
