The Office of Pupil
Personnel Services provides assistance and support services for the school,
parents and the students. This department serves as a resource for building
principals in support of attendance and parent concerns. The office fields
and investigates complaints lodged primarily by parents.
This office is
responsible for the preparations of legal hearing cases, delivery of notices
and subpoenas to parents and school staff.
This office is
responsible for the management of the attendance department staff. In this
capacity, collects, reviews and analyzes student attendance, suspensions,
dropouts and enrollment.
Lastly, the office
assists in the monitoring of students who cease to attend school; assist
with the communication and investigation procedures involved with Division
of Youth and Family Services and the implementation of their
recommendations. |
