The Crisis Intervention Counseling Services offers intervention and prevention service programming for students, parents and families that are in a crisis mode by offering clinical counseling services in an effort to resolve conflicts promptly and effectively.

It offers an extensive range of mental health and advocacy services in addition to providing family therapy and mental health resources referrals.  Some of the issues addressed are related to child abuse, family violence, incarnated youth, gang activity, suicidal ideations and traumatic loss.

The Crisis Intervention Counseling Services provide training in Emergency Preparedness/Crisis Response Teams in an effort to assist the school and community to resolve the emotional aftermath following a traumatic event in addition to the development of a crisis plan, coordinate crisis teams, and counseling.

It provides educational training programming to school staff and community groups in order to respond appropriately to crisis events to minimize personal trauma and the threat of contagion among youth.
