The Attendance Rate for the district met the State’s standard of at least ninety (90%) for the 2007-2008 school year. |

Attendance Officers are working from the daily attendance records and visiting homes of those students who have yet to report to school . If students have not reported to school since opening day, please contact the Truancy Center at 656-7931 or 656-7929. We will visit the homes to determine student’s status. To date, we have made 128 house calls and delivered 19 legal notices. The Truancy Center is aggressively mediating cases of students who have poor attendance or at risk for potential drop-out. Mediations are held each Wednesday for regular education students and |

each Thursdays for special education students. Thus far we have conducted 86 mediations for the 2008-2009 school year. We encourage your recommendations or suggestions. We are looking for staff member who wish to become a part of the committee. The partnership between the Trenton Police Department and the districts' Security Department is at an all time high.
