Text Box: In an effort to provide increased intervention and support services for our most at-risk student population, we have forged new partnerships with several organizations. We are most proud to have been selected by the New Jersey State Attorney General’s Office to provide expanded intervention support services in partnership with the Light House Outreach Center and the Concerned Pastor of Trenton. We will be bringing the agreement before the board hopefully in October or November for approval. The Safe Haven Attendance Retention and Enrichment Program (SHARE) will operate out of the Light House facility on Bellevue Ave. Another new partner is the Greater Trenton Donnelly Neighborhood Weed & Seed Sacred Youth Boxing Academy. The Team Hope Program’s mission is to promote boxing as a sport of conflict as it recognizes boxing is life’s closet match up. The goal is to prepare young people to take their place in the community.
Our next partner is Mercer County Superior Court—Probation Department. They participate in our weekly mediations and upon our move, they will be in our office on a daily basis lending support and addressing the needs of our student population who are on probation.
Boys & Girls Club has signed on to take some of our student who are at risk of going in the wrong direction. This partnership is a result of a grant provided by Boys & Girls Club International.
Some of our old partners who are back Trenton Police Division, Mercer County Sheriff Department, Isles Youth Build, Job Corp, Challenge Program-Fort Dix, Arbor E&T, CASASTART and PROJECT TEACH.
