School where I
served for six wonderful years. Last year, I was the Assistant
Superintendent for Area B Schools. When the opportunity arose, I
requested that I be allowed to serve as the Principal of this
school. This year, we are joined by two new Vice Principals,
Carlos Gonzales and Channing Conway. Returning Vice Principals are
Laura Martin, Keith Taylor and Larry Parker. This group of
individuals has proven to be a most effective leadership team.
It is our mission to
establish high standards for students in order for them to become
critical thinkers, effective communicators, global citizens and
active participants in the learning process. TCHS offers a variety
of athletic and extra-curricular programs, as well as social
activities to develop a well rounded student. We need your
cooperation, support and involvement! Take the time to talk with
your son/daughter about their school experiences. Your interest and
concern in their school progress will motivate them to produce their
best work. The administration is committed to establishing a
partnership with you as we work together to ensure the academic
needs of your child are addressed. We strongly encourage you
to maintain communication with your child's teachers, vice principal
and with me. Join the Parent Teacher Organization and become an
active member. Ask questions and communicate concerns so that we can
build a partnership which will ensure student success. Please

Students may pick up their schedules August 27-31, 2009 between the
hours of 9:00AM and 11:30AM
●
Freshman orientation will be held September 3, 2009 from 6:00 PM to
8:00 PM
●
First Day of school for students is Thursday, September 10, 2009:

Freshman
students are to report at 8:25AM to the auditorium

All other
students will have a delayed opening. Students are to report to
school at 10:30AM

Night: September 24, 2009 from 6:00PM to 7:30PM
