Sharron
Grady, Teacher Leader
Mrs. Grady
has been teaching at TCHS for over 30 years. She has taught Health,
Physical Education and Dance. She was a dance teacher in the original
Creative Connections SLC and is now taking a key leadership role
in forming the new Visual and Performing Arts SLC. Mrs. Grady has
affiliations including The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, NJPAC,
City of Trenton, and McCarter Theater. She was honored by the City
of Trenton with the Black Image Award in Performing Arts and was
featured in Who's Who Among High School Teachers. Mrs. Grady was
instrumental in the production of "sports nite" variety
performing arts gala at TCHS from 1993-99. Among her many duties
at TCHS, Mrs. Grady coaches the Varsity Cheerleaders and serves
as Assistant Coach for the Girls Spring Track Team.

Naomi Cullum, English
Ms. Cullum formerly taught at both the middle school
and college levels. Additionally, a background in Speech and Theater
Arts allows her to strategically infuse relative concepts in the
classroom. A life-long love and appreciation of the visual and performing
arts destined her to be a part of the VPA Community at TCHS Main
Campus.
Lewis Freimark, History
Mr. Freimark currently teaches 9th grade World History
and U.S. History I and has been teaching in the Trenton District
for 6 years. He has an undergraduate degree from Alfred University
in History and Political Science and a Masters Degree in Educational
Administration, from Rutgers University, Graduate School of Education.
While attending Alfred, Mr. Freimark played Freshman basketball,
was a member of R.O.T.C. and was head of the Political Science Club.
Mr. Freimark is currently attending a symposium at Princeton University
on East Asian Studies. He has traveled throughout the world extensively,
the most recent trip being to China 2 years ago. His students at
TCHS and his own 2 teenage boys at home, continue as sources for
learning.

Montanari, Visual Art
Mr. Montanari, after
graduating from Paier College of Art in Hamden, pursued a
successful career as an illustrator. He then completed a BFA
in painting, and art history minor from Rutgers University,
Mason Gross School of The Arts while teaching drawing and
painting to students of all ages. He believes that art and
design influence many aspects of our culture, and that
artistic discovery helps promote a visual aesthetic
throughout our lives. Visual problem solving skills are
vital in today’s global marketplace. His illustrations and
paintings hang in corporate and private collections
throughout the United States and Europe. He also maintains a
viable studio practice while exhibiting paintings in
galleries New York City, New Jersey, and New Hope,
Pennsylvania.
Tom Pullizzi, Science
Mr. Pullizzi has been teaching science for the last
four years after working in the chemical industry since 1977. He
cofounded a website devoted to the metal finishing industry which
just celebrated its 10th anniversary on the internet. He tries to
show the practical aspect of science to all students, and how studying
the sciences can improve understanding of daily events and competence
in any field of study. His present hobby is learning how to raise
his first child.
Dolores
Reilly, English
Mrs. Reilly received her B.A. in English Literature
from Haverford College in PA. As a liberal arts graduate, she believes
in educating the whole person and sees the arts as a great way to
improve literacy and critical thinking - skills that are vital for
youth to reach their personal and professional goals. Mrs. Reilly
advises the Interact Community Service Club and the Phoenix Literary
Magazine. When she's
away from school, you may find her writing songs on the guitar or
playing classical music on the flute or piano. As a graduate of
a performing arts high school, Mrs. Reilly is thrilled to be be
at TCHS to help build the Visual and Performing Arts Academy.

Melissa Wyatt, English
After completing her Master of
Arts in Teaching at The College of New Jersey, Melissa Wyatt joined
the TCHS faculty and became the Theatre Troupe advisor. Ms. Wyatt
worked with local theatre companies for the past 10 years designing
shows such as Pippin, Into the Woods,
Heartbreak House and directing Sam Shepard's Buried Child
and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. Moving to New
Jersey in 1993, after completing her bachelor degree in
Comprehensive Theatre, Ms. Wyatt worked for too many years as a
fundraiser and consultant before finally fulfilling her dream of
becoming a teacher.
